Set up a website for the CHS Business Department.  Hopefully in the future our whole curriculum (or most of it at least) can be put on the web and so on…

My high school FBLA advisor inspired the Centralia FBLA chapter to trick-or-treat for canned good this evening.

It was a great success and if I had her number, which I might find and call her this weekend, I’d call Gay and let her know she inspired me to try trick-or-treating with my students like she did with her students for many years.

Feeling a little slow today.   Didn’t get a whole lot of sleep last night, but at least it’s an “A” day today so I get a break here at school.

I’ve got a ton of grading to do…and I’m not looking forward to it.  It would be much easier if I didn’t have so many different subjects.  It’s hard to transition from grading Multimedia to Accounting, and then back to Advanced Computer Applications.

The Highway Patrol didn’t have any openings for a school bus driving test in time for FBLA State Contest so I’m going to wait until this summer to get certified.  Too bad, because I’m pretty sure I’d kick it’s butt.

It’s official, I’ve been permitted to drive a school bus.  Passed all three written tests with flying colors.  Didn’t miss any questions on the “school bus” test.  [The other two were "General Knowledge" and "Passenger"]

Now I’ve got to find someone to let me ride with them and actually drive a bus.
Need to be fully licensed by April 18th for contest on the 20th!

Its import and export features made it possible for me to import all my old blogspot posts from when I first started posting for Web Design at Mizzou, as well as the few posts I made while testing the 2.5 beta using another database.

In unrelated news, school was hectic today. Not in the classroom, but in my mind.
State FBLA contest is coming up (April 20-22). I’m trying to get certified to drive a bus so I can drive the students to CoMo for the contest…otherwise we’ll have to get a driver to stay in CoMo until after midnight on Monday, and then back to CoMo at 7-something the next morning.
We’ll see what happens….

Also, hopefully I’ll be able to take a couple students to Atlanta this summer for the FBLA National Leadership Conference (NLC). I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
