With each new piece of mail/form I get from school I get more excited about my first year of teaching. Who knew filling out forms for medial and dental insurance could be so much fun?
It looks like I might be able to get my conference ($) taken care of by the district also! Gotta get a form, fill it out, and we’ll see.

Not so fun news: Gotta start paying back student loans very soon. Currently trying to consolidate them and get the monthly payment to a non-obscene number. Also gotta find out if they’ll let me make the first payment after Sept. 1.

I was just filling out a conference registration form and it hit me…..you’re being Freedish (the official word for doing something Freda-like. Examples: scraping mold off food and eating the food; putting leftovers in your purse; and so on. Feel free to inject this word into random conversations.)

Pay $20 for a luncheon….I don’t think so. I’ll take my own sandwich!

Yesterday:
Ran about 5 miles at Rock Bridge Park (I’d much prefer to mountainbike…maybe next year)
Played sand volleyball from 7:15-10:30′ish last night. Had 6 sweet games of two on two with Ronnell, Kenny, and Curt. When we finally left at 10:30′ish we were tied up at 3 games a piece. That means more matches to come!

Today:
Made a sweet sandwich for lunch…along with pretzel bites, orange, apple and bananna.

And last but not least….. Naked Juice rocks!

Snooped around my classroom for a couple hours today.

Ordered a couple book the other day and got these today:

Four copies of “Confronting War: Fourth Edition”.
Why would I want a book like this, or four of them for that matter!!!

Went for a walk today during my hour long lunch break from the Reflector.

From now on every day I’m going to grab a book, find a tree (outdoors. No sitting by indoor trees), and read for most of my break.

No t-ball game today because of the rain. So Kenny and Kyle came over and played some video games.

Got some good stuff done at work today. The Mizzou Cycling site has a new homepage now (check it out at http://www.mizzoucycling.com) I’m happy with it, other than one piece of code won’t validate and I’m not sure why. Don’t know enough about PHP yet.

Next up:
Add google maps to the list of “rides”
Add and alumni section to the “riders” page
Figure out an easier way to post race results
And then I can figure out what to use my own site for…http://www.theandrew.net
