If you’re using Firefox (and you should), you should check out a number of plugins including the foxmarks plugin.Reasons I use foxmarks include, but are not limited to:
1. It takes seconds to sync bookmarks
2. They just updated the online service so if you don’t feel like installing a plugin they offer an awesome, easy to use interface to organize your bookmarks at my.foxmarks.com
3. Other bookmarking sites/programs pretty much suck. I’ve tried 3 or 4 other bookmarking sites before coming across foxmarks and none of them comes close to foxmarks.Other recommended plugins:

  • Web Developer (if you like to tinker with web sites)
  • FoxyTunes (adjust your music program of choice through your browser)
  • StumbleUpon (Finds sites based on your interests, will show you some neat sites you’d never find otherwise. )
  • PDF Download (Keep .pdf files from loading into your browser without your permission. Especially useful for dial-up users!)
  • Adblock Plus (Firefox does a good job blocking pop-up ads, but this added protection is nice)
  • IE Tab (for the stupid, stupid, stupid sites that only work with Internet Explorer)
  • FireFTP (easy way to transfer files to server. Not the best interface, but it’s free :)
  • ImageZoom (nice added ability to zoom in or out on images)
  • Screengrab (grab a copy of a full web page…even if it seems to scroll forever)
  • ErrorZilla (instead of a “server not found” page you get options like Google Cache, Whois lookup, etc)
